Las Vegas RV Rental FAQ

Everything you need to know before, during, and after your rental. Road trip or EDC, we’ve got answers.

BOOKING + GETTING STARTED

How do I book an RV?

You can book directly on our website at nomadrentalslv.com or through Outdoorsy. To book direct, visit our Book Now page, pick your dates, choose your RV, and complete the reservation through our booking system. Direct bookings skip the platform fees added at checkout on third-party sites.

What’s the benefit of booking directly with you instead of Outdoorsy or RVshare?

When you book directly on our site, you skip the platform service fees that Outdoorsy and RVshare add at checkout. You get the exact same RV, the same experience, and the same included perks, just at a lower total cost. All rentals include 100 free miles per day and 3 free generator hours per day regardless of where you book.

How far in advance should I book?

As early as possible, especially for peak season (spring and fall) and festival dates like EDC. We have a small, curated fleet and dates fill up quickly. For EDC specifically, we recommend reaching out at least 6 months before the festival.

What do I need to provide to complete a booking?

You’ll need a valid driver’s license, a credit or debit card for the security deposit, and basic trip details including your dates, group size, and planned destinations. International guests should also have their passport available at pickup.

What is your cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy includes a grace period and a timing-based refund schedule. If you cancel within 24 hours of booking and your trip is more than 7 days away, you get a full refund. If your trip is 7 days or less away, you have 1 hour after booking to cancel for a full refund.
After the grace period: cancellations more than 30 days before departure receive a full refund of the rental amount. Cancellations between 30 and 8 days before departure receive a 50% refund of the rental amount. Cancellations 7 days or fewer before departure receive no refund of the rental amount. Add-ons, delivery fees, prep fees, and insurance costs are always refunded regardless of when you cancel. All timing is based on your scheduled departure date. No exceptions for late cancellations.

What if the RV I reserved isn’t available at pickup?

We always do our best to provide the exact unit you reserved. If your RV becomes unavailable due to maintenance or an unforeseen issue, we’ll substitute it with a comparable or upgraded unit at no extra cost. If no comparable option is available, we’ll offer alternatives including rescheduling or a full refund. We use Wheelbase, an Outdoorsy company, which also gives us access to their concierge team and nationwide fleet as a backup.

Will I see full pricing before I confirm?

Yes. Your quote or checkout summary will include a full itemized breakdown before you confirm anything. No surprises at pickup.

Where is pickup and dropoff?

Pickup and return are coordinated near the airport area, about 10 minutes from Harry Reid International Airport (LAS). It is not at the airport itself. We’ll send the exact location after booking is confirmed.

What are your pickup and dropoff hours?

Our standard pickup and dropoff window is 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Please plan your arrival accordingly. If you’re flying in, share your flight number and arrival time when booking so we can coordinate timing and adjust for any delays.

How long does pickup take?

Plan on about 1 to 1.5 hours for your pickup walkthrough, depending on your RV experience. We go through every system so you feel confident before you drive off. First-time RV guests tend to take the full 1.5 hours, which is completely normal.

I’m flying in from out of state. How does the process work?

Fly into Harry Reid International (LAS), then head to our pickup location about 10 minutes from the terminal. Share your flight number and arrival time when you book and we’ll time the pickup around your arrival. We can also adjust if your flight is delayed.

Do I need to clean the RV before returning it?

We ask that the RV be returned clean and in the condition it was received. Basic tidying, wiping of surfaces, emptying the fridge, and disposing of trash are expected. We handle the sanitizing and deep clean between guests. Excessive mess or damage beyond normal use may result in additional cleaning fees.

What happens if I return the RV late?

Please let us know as early as possible if you expect to be late. Late returns affect other guests’ pickup schedules. Late fees may apply depending on how late the return is and whether it impacts the next booking.

What comes with every rental?

Every Nomad Rentals LV rental includes bedding and towels for the full sleeping capacity, kitchenware (pots, pans, plates, cups, mugs, silverware, and a coffee maker), camp chairs for every guest, and a cooler. Additional outdoors gear is available as an add on. We stock the essentials so you can pack lighter and spend less time shopping when you arrive.

Is mileage included?

Yes. Every rental includes 100 free miles per day. Additional miles beyond the daily included amount are billed at $0.45 per mile. We take an odometer reading at pickup and return, subtract your included miles, and bill any overage at the end of your trip. There are no surprises, and the math is straightforward.

Are generator hours included?

Yes. Every rental includes 3 free generator hours per day. Additional generator hours beyond the included daily amount are billed at $4 per hour. Generator use creates real wear and maintenance costs, so overages are tracked and billed at the end of your trip.

Do all RVs have air conditioning?

Yes. All of our RVs are equipped with air conditioning. Performance can vary in extreme heat, especially when running solely on generator power without a hookup. If you’re heading out in summer or attending EDC, we recommend having power hookups in place.

Do I need to bring my own bedding or towels?

No. Bedding and towels are included for the full sleeping capacity of your RV. You’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer, but you won’t need to.Beach towels are recommended if using for outdoor recreation.
