Idle RV parked in storage — RV consignment program Las Vegas

Is Your RV Sitting Idle?

An RV that isn’t being used is still costing you money. Insurance, registration, storage, and depreciation add up whether it moves or not. Putting it into a well-managed rental program can help offset those costs while keeping your RV maintained, inspected, and in good condition between your own uses.

We are selective about which RVs we accept. Every unit goes through a pre-onboarding inspection and approval process before we list it. This keeps the program working well for everyone involved.

Where Your RV Stays

Your RV stays close to us, which means faster turnarounds, quicker inspections, and more bookable nights.

Our recommended storage facility

Most owners keep their RV at a secure facility near our service base. You arrange the space, and you keep your own access.

Your home, within 5 miles

If you live within 5 miles of our service base, you can keep your RV at home. We pick it up and return it curbside at scheduled times. There’s no travel fee.

Somewhere else

Other locations can work with our approval. Locations more than 5 miles away carry a per-trip travel fee, and we’ll confirm it in writing before you sign.

Every trip starts and ends with a full inspection and photos on file. If something comes back damaged, we have the record to back it up.

How the Revenue Split Works

Revenue is split 50/50 on net payouts, after platform fees, card processing, and taxes. Here’s what that looks like.

50 % – YOU

Mileage, Generator & Registration

You keep 100% of mileage and generator overage fees, plus the registration fee charged on each booking.

Payout Schedule

Payouts go out by the 10th business day of each month for rentals completed the month before.

50% – NOMAD

Covers operations

Prep, Cleaning & Add-Ons

Retained by Nomad Rentals LV to cover operational costs.

Transparent Reporting

Monthly payout statements showing all activity, revenue, and deductions.

Is This a Good Fit?

We accept a limited number of consignment RVs and screen each one carefully. Here’s how to know if this is the right program for you.

This works well if you…

Already own an RV you don’t use full-time
Want hands-off management with clear monthly reporting
Understand results vary based on utilization and RV type
Are comfortable with a 50/50 net revenue split
Can maintain valid insurance and respond to repair authorizations within 24 hours

This is not the right fit if you…

Are buying an RV solely to generate rental profit
Expect guaranteed monthly returns
Want to stay involved in day-to-day guest or maintenance decisions
Are not able to maintain the RV in roadworthy, insurable condition

Common questions

How much can I earn renting out my RV?

Revenue is split 50/50 on net payouts after platform fees, card processing, and taxes. You keep 100% of mileage and generator overage fees and the registration fee collected from guests. Payouts go out by the 10th business day of each month for rentals completed the month before.

What RVs do you accept?

We are selective. Every unit goes through a pre-onboarding inspection before we list it. We consider Class A, B, and C motorhomes, camper vans, and travel trailers that are 10 model years old or newer. Each unit must be in good mechanical condition with current registration and valid insurance, and we decide fit unit by unit. If your RV doesn’t pass inspection, we’ll tell you clearly why and what would need to change.

Will my RV be rented for festivals like EDC or Burning Man?

Festival weekends are some of our busiest, and EDC is one of the biggest in Las Vegas. Part of screening every renter is asking whether they’re headed to a festival or event. We rent for most festivals, but some are restricted by the rental platforms, so we review each booking case by case. Burning Man is your call. Because it’s so hard on an RV, you decide each year whether to opt in. Have a question about a specific event? Just ask.

What happens when something needs to be repaired?

Our in-house RV technician handles routine maintenance and coordinates repairs. For anything that requires owner authorization, we’ll reach out and need a response within 24 hours, or within 2 hours for urgent safety issues, to keep the rental schedule on track. We document all maintenance activity in your monthly statements.

Can I still use my RV?

Yes. Request your dates in writing, ideally 14 days ahead, and we’ll block them as long as they don’t conflict with a confirmed booking. There’s no fee. We’re closed for rentals in January and February, which is a great time to take your RV out yourself.

Am I locked into a long contract?

No. Our agreement runs 12 months, and you re-sign each year. There’s no automatic renewal. Either of us can end it with 30 days’ written notice. Bookings already confirmed are honored, so guests aren’t left without an RV.
